Alliance’s Breast Cancer Network Australia livery aircraft to operate regular passenger transport sectors in Gladstone, Bundaberg and Port Macquarie

Oct 11, 2019, 13:26 PM by Alliance Airlines

BRISBANE: Alliance Airlines, Australia’s leading aviation services provider, unveiled their VH-NUU Fokker 70 on 23 August 2019. Hailed as the Pink Lady, VH-NUU has been operating Alliance’s contract and charter services into regional communities since that time.

To support Australians affected by breast cancer, and promote the work of BCNA, VH-NUU has been painted in Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) branding and pink livery.

Commencing this Friday 4 October, the Pink Lady will operate Alliance’s regular passenger transport (RPT) services including Gladstone and Bundaberg in Queensland, and Port Macquarie in New South Wales. Over the next twelve months, Alliance aims for VH-NUU to visit as many regional cities and towns in Australia as possible as well.

Alliance Airlines’ Chief Executive Officer, Lee Schofield, stated, “Alliance is proud to support Breast Cancer Network Australia and spread the word of their invaluable services by operating VH-NUU on our RPT sectors including Gladstone, Bundaberg and Port Macquarie.”

“Throughout Australia, from our main ports to regional cities and towns, the Pink Lady is a visual reminder of this cause, and helps women and families affected by breast cancer know to source support from BCNA”.

“Since 2015, Alliance has been supporting the work of BCNA through our workplace giving programme, and a number of fundraising initiatives including Alliance’s Hangar2Hangar charity cycling event.”

“During our 2018 event, we met several breast cancer survivors who have been supported by BCNA. Their courage and appreciation of BCNA’s services motivated us to commit to the Pink Lady.”

“In 2020 I will ride in Alliance’s Hangar2Hangar again with personnel and supporters in South Australia. Our goal for this event is to raise $100,000 for BCNA,” Schofield highlighted.
