Alliance extends contract for air charter services for CITIC PACIFIC MINING
Includes an initial 50% increase in flights to the new Cape Preston (Sino Iron) Aerodrome.
Further to Alliance’s ASX announcement of 12 December 206 in relation to the extension of its existing air charter services with CITIC Pacific Mining (“CPM”) into Karratha, Alliance is proud to announce it has signed a new 5 year contract with CPM for the provision of air charter services.
Alliance has been providing these air charter services to CPM since 2009.
This contract will service the new Cape Preston (Sino Iron) Aerodrome which opened for operations on 19 June 2017. Alliance also provides the aerodrome management and ground handling services at Cape Preston (Sino Iron) Areodrome.
The opening of Cape Preston (Sino Iron) Aerodrome provides direct access to the site for CPM and will see an increase in the number of flights provided by Alliance on a weekly basis from 16 to 24.
Scott McMillan, Alliance’s Managing Director said “he would also like to acknowledge the excellent working relationship between CPM and Alliance that has been evident since 2009 and allowed Alliance to provide a fully integrated aviation solution for CPM at the Cape Preston (Sino Iron) Aerodrome.”
