In early October, Alliance was chartered to fly 80 city folks to Longreach for the opening of the Outback Entertainment Centre at the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame. Travelling on the aircraft was Lee Kernaghan and the Wolfe Brothers who performed a private concert aft the 2016 NRL Grand Final. After talking with the passengers on board, our crew were introduced to a lovely couple who were gifted a surprise 50th wedding anniversary present by their son which included, flights, accommodation and all meals inclusive trip to Longreach to see Lee live in concert. Both Bev and John were big fans of Lee and have seen him 13 times in concert. The Alliance team were able to arrange a personal meeting with Lee after the flight and have a photo taken as a memento of the occasion. Bev and John were mighty impressed and Bev even shed a tear in her excitement.
